A Contemporary Town House Garden

Another lovely town house in Highbury and Islington. The clients wanted to revamp their tired garden and create a modern low maintenance space that matched the interior of their new kitchen extension. Bespoke bottomless coated steel planters were created, and a bespoke oak timber cladding fence was added to the back wall. drought tolerant hardy plants were installed to create a contemporary feel. As with most town houses in central London access through to the garden is only through the house, so we had to make sure the width of the planters were slim enough to squeeze through the hallway, and with bare millimetres to spare we managed it. The garden itself was not square with the back wall and so some cutting of the patio was needed to ensure the planters fit snug.
