A Pollinator Garden in The Country

A wonderful and old property in Sedbergh that was tired and in need of a makeover. The borders were covered in long grass and weeds including bindweed and ground elder, with an old crazy paving patio that had longsinced cracked and in some cases disintegrated. The access was either through the house or round the entire side of the property and up a flight of stairs. We designed this garden to take whatever the Cumbrian winter (and indeed summer) could through at it, with hardy perennials and bulbs with a flower succession from January to early December that were tailored specifically for pollinators. Good quality reclaimed Yorkstone was also used for the patio and the enclosed with a contemporary bespoke oak fence for privacy.
