A Raised Decking Front Garden

Front Gardens are often an under appreciated and overlooked space, often simply paved over to make room for another car or grassed over and forgotten. In my humble opinion this is such shame, a front garden is not only a space that can be greatly exploited to add another area where pollinators can thrive but also add value both to yourselves and your property (it is the first thing anyone will see when looking at your house). In this instance the front garden was a south facing space with views across the river Kent on a quiet private road. This offered a chance to design a rather unique front garden to be used not just viewed by the clients. The design incorporated a curved decking to float over the contemporary feel hardy perennials and grasses. A curved path would dissect the borders and flow through the garden, a subtly ode to the river beyond and a good option to help elongate the perception of the garden.
