A Small Garden Revamp in Cumbria
Some gardens really only need a mini revamp to look at their best again. This is a great example of a garden that only needed a bit of a spruce up and a few carefully chosen plants to make it shine again. The property in Cumbria was a holiday let for a couple who predominantly live abroad. They wanted their small garden to be a welcoming space (in sun or shine) for their guests to make the most of the spectacular views of the Western Dales. The living willow hedge was cut back and retrained, the patio was cleaned and redone, the fence repainted and the the tired border at the back replanted with hardy perennials that will give colour and interest throughout the year.
