Patio Stepped Garden

A very tired back garden that was in much need of a face lift. The soil was very poor and the original patio far too small for any other than the most measly of tables. I decided to design the garden to be split over two levels, this was largely to give interest, delineate between the two spaces (the seating area and the lawn) and to give the perspective of space as much as humanly possible. the elevated seating area was paved with beautiful sandstone slabs from a local family owned business and surrounded by raised beds filled with an abundance of colourful, hardy and low maintenance grasses and perennials. New local turf was installed and a brand new shed erected. It always makes me so pleased to create beautiful clients that both the clients and the local wildlife will enjoy and keep using year after year.
